Smart Works

Smart Works is located on the ground floor over on Miraj Road. We’re in the Nadi Ves area, not too far from Shastri Chowk, which is a landmark most people in town know well. Being on the ground floor is handy because we don't have to lug things up and down stairs all day long. The office isn't huge, but it's got enough room for our desks and a small corner for tea. We started this place because we wanted to work for ourselves in our own neighborhood. It’s mostly just a few of us here. We don’t wear suits or have big meetings about goals. We just look at what needs to be finished today and get to it. The street outside can get pretty packed during market hours, so it’s sometimes a bit of a squeeze to get through the door. We like the energy of the area though. There are always people walking by and popping their heads in to say hello. We keep our space simple and functional. There’s a bit of a hum from the computers and the fan, but otherwise, it's a pretty normal workspace. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that. We just want to do a decent job and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s a small life, but it’s what we know. The rent stays manageable and we get along with the neighbors.
