Quantbit Technologies Private Limited is run out of Tanang, which is in the Miraj taluka of Sangli district. We are based at 55A/p, care of Raosaheb Appa Chougule. It is a bit different from being in a big city like Mumbai or Pune, but we prefer it here. It is quieter and we can actually hear ourselves think while we work on our technology projects. The atmosphere in Sangli is pretty grounded and we try to keep our business that way too. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of people. It’s a smaller setup where everyone knows each other. Being in a place like Tanang means we are close to our roots. We set up our equipment here and just started working. There is a lot of local pride in this area and we feel that too. People around here are hardworking and we try to match that energy in our daily tasks. It’s not always easy running a tech company from a more rural-leaning area, but the internet makes it possible for us to reach whoever we need to. We spend our days at the desks, looking at code or whatever project is on the plate. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll just find us working. It’s a simple life and a simple way to do business. We focus on the tasks we have and try to do them well without making a big deal out of it.
