Kissan Life Organic Fertilizer Private Limited is located at Sy No 97/3A2, right opposite Parekh Nagar. We set up shop here at Vijayalaxmi Gurunath Andewadi’s place. It is a busy spot but we manage to get our work done. Making organic fertilizer is not the cleanest job in the world. Our clothes usually end up pretty dusty by the end of the shift. We focus on getting the mix right so the plants actually grow. People stop by all the time asking what we have ready. It is a lot of manual labor and checking bags. We do not spend much time sitting behind desks. The area around Parekh Nagar is familiar to us and we like being part of the local scene. Sometimes we run out of stock faster than we expect, and then we have to work double time. It is just a small team of us. We are not some massive factory with robots. We use our hands and common sense to figure out the best way to do things. The smell of the fertilizer is something you just get used to after a week or two. It feels good to know the stuff we make is going back into the dirt to help things grow. We just keep our heads down and keep the bags moving out the door. There is always a tractor or a truck pulling up to load something.
