Gausanjeevani Organic Farmers is located in Audumbar, which is a peaceful spot in the Sangli district. We work out of Suhas Prabhakar Patil’s place. Being a producer company means we are a group of farmers who decided to team up. It makes things a bit easier when you have more hands helping. We focus on organic methods, which takes a lot of patience and physical labor. In Audumbar, the ground is good, but you still have to put in the work every single day. We don't have a big corporate office with air conditioning. Usually, we meet under a tree or in someone’s front room to talk about the harvest. Sangli is known for its agriculture, and we are proud to be part of that tradition. Our main goal is just to keep our farms running and make sure we can sell what we grow for a fair price. We use a lot of traditional knowledge that’s been passed down, mixed with a few new ideas we’ve picked up along the way. Sometimes things go wrong, like a machine breaking down or a pest problem, and we just have to figure it out together. It’s not always pretty, but it’s real life. We aren't here to give sales pitches. We’re just farmers trying to do right by the land and our families in this part of Palus. It's tough but we like the life we have chosen.
