Working out of Kupwad M.I.D.C is quite an experience because it is such a large industrial area. Our unit is at F-61/1, and it is usually surrounded by trucks and other warehouses. We handle a lot of import and export stuff, so there is always a lot of loading and unloading going on at our docks. It is a bit of a maze back here, but once you know the way, it is not so bad. We spend most of our time looking at shipping lists and making sure the crates are ready to move. It is a lot of logistics and timing. Sometimes things get delayed at the port or there is a problem with the transport, and we have to scramble to fix it. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just moving goods from one place to another and making sure the records are straight. The office is right next to the warehouse, so you can hear the forklifts moving around while you are trying to type. It is a busy life, and we don't have much time for sitting around. Most of us have been in this business for a long time, so we are used to the pace. We just focus on getting the shipments out and keeping the warehouse running smoothly without any major hiccups.
