Vesuvius India Ltd. is based out of Sambalpur. We have this spot at Flat No-T1 in Varun Residency. It’s right there in Danipali. Working in Orissa has its own pace. Some of us have lived here our whole lives, while others moved for the job. We spend most of our days handling industrial stuff. It gets pretty busy around here, especially when the orders come in thick. The office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the paperwork done and talk to the guys on the ground. People usually find us by looking for the residency building. It’s a decent area, though the roads can get a bit dusty in the summer months. We try to keep things organized but sometimes things get a bit chaotic when there's a deadline. Most of the time, we’re just focusing on making sure the materials are moving and the customers are getting what they asked for without too much fuss. We drink a lot of tea while we work and talk about what’s happening in the local news. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't really do big meetings or anything like that. We just talk across the desks and figure things out as they come. Being in Sambalpur, you get to know the neighbors after a while. We've been at this for some time now and it's become a second home for most of us working here.
