Sterling Resorts, Yercaud

We are located up at Cady’S Seat in Yercaud. It is a quiet spot, away from the main town center where things can get a bit crowded during the tourist season. Our address is officially P.B.-11, which sounds a bit formal, but we are just a bunch of people running a resort on the side of the hill. The view from around here is the main reason most people bother coming up the winding roads from the plains. We have got rooms for families and solo travelers who just want to see the lake or the local gardens. It is a lot of work keeping the grounds around the property looking decent because the monkeys sometimes get in and mess things up. We do not pretend to be a five-star place with gold taps, but the rooms are tidy and the food is hot. The staff mostly comes from the village nearby, so they know the shortcuts and where to get the best local coffee. It gets dark pretty early up here in the hills, and the air turns quite crisp at night. We usually have a few people sitting out on the benches in the evening just watching the clouds move. It is not a complicated business. We just provide a place to sleep and eat while you are visiting the Shevaroy Hills. Some days are busier than others, especially on weekends when everyone drives up. We just do our best to keep things running.
