Hotel Mangalam

Our hotel is located on Kadaloore Main Road. We are in Valapady which is part of Salem. The zip code is 636115. A very easy way to find us is to look for the Government Boys High School because we are right opposite to it. Hotel Mangalam is a place where we do most of the work ourselves. We don't have a huge staff. It is just a few of us making sure everything is in order. Being across from a school means it gets very noisy in the mornings and afternoons when the kids are coming and going. We are used to it by now. The road outside is always busy with buses and cars going toward Salem. We get people staying here who are visiting family or have some business at the local shops. The rooms are basic with just the essentials. We don't go in for fancy stuff like big televisions or room service menus. If you need something you just come down and ask us. We try to be helpful but we are just regular people. We keep the floors swept and the bedding changed. It is a simple life running a hotel on a main road. We don't do any big advertising. We just keep the doors open for whoever needs a room for a night or two while they are passing through Valapady.
