Sri Gowri Sankar Hotel

Sri Gowri Sankar Hotel is located in Attur, Salem, right on S C Road at number 962. We are very easy to spot because we are directly opposite the Periyar Statue. That statue is how most people find us if they are visiting Attur for the first time. We've been operating in this spot for many years now. It’s a straightforward hotel where you can get a meal. Salem can be quite hot and dusty, so our place offers a bit of a break from the outside. We have a regular crowd of people who work nearby and stop in for their breakfast or a quick afternoon snack. It's not a large place. We have a few staff members who help with the serving and the cleaning. We don't have any fancy mission statements or corporate goals. We just want to make sure the food is ready when people are hungry. The kitchen is old-fashioned but it gets the job done. Sometimes when the traffic on S C Road is heavy, it gets a bit noisy inside, but most people don't seem to mind. They're just here to eat and get on with their day. We take pride in just being a reliable local spot. It’s hard work and the hours are long, but that’s what running a hotel like this involves. We just take it one day at a time.
