Down here on TVK Road in Ammapettai, we keep things moving at Sivan Films Ad Film Makers & Event Planer. We’re tucked away near the Government Boys School. It’s a familiar spot for anyone living around Salem. We do a mix of things, mostly making short films for ads and helping folks put their events together. It’s not always glamorous work. There's a lot of sitting in front of screens editing footage or making endless phone calls to get a stage set up. We started this because we liked making things, but it turns out a lot of it is just logistics and planning. Some days we are out on a shoot with cameras and lights, and other days we’re just at the desk figuring out a budget for a local function. The neighborhood is pretty active, so there’s always something going on outside our door. We’ve been at this for a bit now, learning as we go. We don't have a massive crew, just a group that knows how to get the job done. If you're walking past the school, you've probably seen our sign. We handle the technical bits that most people don't want to deal with themselves. It keeps us busy from morning until late evening most weeks. We don't use fancy jargon, we just focus on the final video or event and getting it done right.
