Our hotel is located at No 154/2 on Meyyanur Main Road in Salem. We are right across the street from Sri Vidhya Mandhir Higher Secondary School, so we see a lot of students and parents every morning and afternoon when school lets out. The 636004 area is quite lively. Being on the main road means there is always a bus or a bike passing by. We have the AC in our name because we know how hot Salem gets, and it is one of the main things people look for when they come inside. The building is simple and we try to keep the rooms tidy for anyone who needs a place to sleep for the night. We don't have a huge staff, just enough of us to handle the front desk and keep the place clean. Sometimes it gets loud with the school across the way, but we are used to it by now. We open up the doors early and stay until late at night to see who comes in. Most of our guests are just passing through Salem or have some business in the Meyyanur area. It is a straightforward business, no frills, just a place to stay with cooling to beat the Tamil Nadu heat. We focus on the basics like clean sheets and making sure the water is running. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized.
