We are based at 29 D5 Mahalakshmi Nagea, which is in the Kannankurichi area of Salem. It is a residential neighborhood, so it is usually fairly quiet except for when the kids are coming home from school. Nill has its space here, and it is a pretty basic setup. We have some desks and some chairs, and that is about it. We don't have a reception desk or a sign out front telling everyone who we are. Most of the people who live nearby just see us as another house on the block. The 29 D5 unit is just a regular part of the building. We spend our mornings drinking tea and figuring out what needs to be done for the day. Salem is a place where you know your neighbors, and we try to keep things friendly. The office doesn't look like much from the outside, but we like it that way. It is comfortable and we don't have to worry about looking too professional for anyone. Sometimes the stray dogs sleep in the shade near our door, and we just let them be. The light in the afternoons is quite nice in the front room. We don't use any fancy systems, just our computers and some notebooks. It is a very straightforward way to run things. We are just a local business trying to do a decent job every day without any extra drama or complicated rules.
