Magna Design Technologies

Down here in Salem, we run Magna Design Technologies out of a space on Krishnan Koil Street. The address is 116 26 C, and it is a place we’ve become very familiar with over the years. We do technical design work, which means we spend a lot of time staring at computer screens and looking at blueprints or digital models. It isn't the kind of job that looks very exciting from the outside, but there is a lot of thinking involved. The street outside can be quite busy with people going to the temple or the local shops, but we stay focused on the projects we have on our desks. Our team is small, just a few people who know their way around design software. We don't have a big front desk or a receptionist. If the door is open, you just walk in and talk to whoever is free. We handle stuff for various clients, mostly local or from nearby districts. It’s a bit cramped with all the computers and cables, but we make it work. We like being in Salem; it’s home for us. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just take an idea and try to draw it out so it can be built or made. That’s the long and short of it. We just keep our heads down and try to get the drawings right for whoever needs them.
