Accenture is set up over here at 5 1 Sriganesh Vihar in Kesavan Nagar. Salem has its own pace, and Kannangurichi is a bit quieter than the main city center. Our office is tucked away in this residential layout. It feels more like a house turned into a workplace than a big corporate building. You can hear the neighbors sometimes, or kids playing outside when school lets out. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad compared to the big cities. We spend our days mostly on the computers, checking emails and filling out forms. It’s a small team here, so we all know what’s going on with each other. Sometimes we bring lunch from home and eat together in the small pantry area. The weather in Salem can get really dry, so we drink a lot of water throughout the day. We don't have any flashy signs out front. Just a plain door and our desks inside. It’s a practical space for the kind of work we do. There isn't much drama or excitement, just the steady hum of the fans and the tapping of keys. When the day ends, we lock up and head out. Sometimes we stop at the local market on the way back to pick up some groceries. It’s just a normal job in a normal neighborhood. We focus on getting our lists finished and keeping things organized. That’s how we operate in Sriganesh Vihar every single day.
