Kiran Chandra Tea Estate

We are based at Plot No. 93/27 on North Street 3. We’re right there in Pachapatti, on the main road. Being on the main road means we see everything that goes by, which is quite a bit in this area. Kiran Chandra Tea Estate is where we handle our tea business. It’s not a massive corporate office. It’s a practical place where we keep track of our stocks and talk to our suppliers. The smell of tea is usually pretty strong around the plot, which is one of the better parts of the job. North Street 3 is a familiar place for most of the local traders. We’ve been here long enough that the address is well-known. We have a small office and some storage space for the tea chests. It’s a simple setup. We spend our mornings checking the quality of the leaves and making sure the orders are ready to go out. The main road can be noisy with the traffic, but inside it’s usually just the sound of people working and the occasional tea tasting. We don’t do much in the way of promotion. The tea usually speaks for itself when people try it. We just focus on keeping the quality consistent and getting it to the right places. It’s a quiet, steady life in Pachapatti. We like the rhythm of it. We just keep doing what we’ve been doing for years.
