Hotel Taj Biryani & Fast Food

You can find us in Tharamangalam, which is part of the Salem district. We’ve been set up here for a while, right in the heart of the village area. It’s a simple spot where we mostly serve biryani and some quick fast food items for people passing through. Tharamangalam isn't a huge place, so everyone kind of knows everyone else around here. Most of our days are spent in the kitchen, prep work takes up a lot of time because we start early. The morning air in Salem is usually okay, but it heats up fast. We aren't trying to be some five-star establishment; we are just a local eatery that fits into the neighborhood. The tables are basic and the chairs are just what we could find that worked. Sometimes the rain comes down hard and we have to move things around to stay dry. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations or big signs. Most people just walk in because they smell the food or they’re hungry after a long day of work. It’s a lot of hard work, standing over the stoves and making sure everything is ready. We deal with the usual local stuff, like the occasional power cut or the water truck being late. It’s just a normal life running a small business in a place like this. We are glad to be part of the community here.
