Hotel Salem Castle

Hotel Salem Castle is located at A/4, Bharathi Street in the Swarnapuri area. It’s a decent neighborhood to be in, and we’ve been here for quite some time now. The street is usually okay, though it gets a bit crowded during the peak hours when everyone is going to work or coming home. We aren't a big chain or anything like that. We are just a local place where we know most of the people on the block. The building has a bit of a look to it, maybe a little older than some of the newer ones nearby. We spend our days mostly looking after the rooms and making sure the lobby doesn't get too messy. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. We don’t have any fancy systems; we just write things down and keep track of who is coming and going. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit muddy, and we have to mop the floors twice as much to keep the place looking all right. We just try to keep things simple and honest. If a guest has a problem, they just come and talk to us at the desk, and we try to fix it right then. We don’t have any big corporate policies to follow, just common sense. It’s been our life for a long time, being here on Bharathi Street. We just keep the doors open and do our best every day to keep things running.
