Esskay Engineering Industries

You can find Esskay Engineering Industries at No. 3/128 in the Gounder Complex, which is on East Street in Chinthamani. We are located near the local post office, which makes it easy to explain where we are to people who aren't from this side of town. The complex is a bit of a maze of different shops and small factories, and we occupy one of the units on the ground floor. It’s a busy place with a lot of coming and going throughout the day. Our unit is packed with various pieces of machinery and metal stock that we use for our daily production. There is a small desk near the entrance where we keep our logbooks, but most of the actual work happens further back where it’s louder. We usually have the heavy doors open to let in some air, though that also lets in the dust from East Street. The workers here have been with us for years, and we operate more like a group of friends than a formal company. We share tea in the afternoons and talk about the news or what's happening in Chinthamani. We don't have any marketing people or a fancy website to show off what we do. People mostly find out about us by word of mouth or by seeing the sign hanging outside the complex. We just focus on getting the orders out on time and making sure the machines are kept in working order for the next day's shift.
