This branch of Cethar Vessels is located over in Mecheri, near Mettur in the Salem district. You can find us on Salem Main Road, specifically at 12/2-15. P. Kandasamy, who used to be a teacher, is a key figure here. It’s a bit of a unique setup because of our location in a smaller town like Mecheri. We handle a lot of the work related to vessels and industrial parts for the region. The weather here in Tamil Nadu can get really hot, but we keep the operations going regardless. Our team is mostly made up of folks from Mettur and the surrounding villages. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches for us. We just focus on the daily tasks and making sure the engineering side of things is handled. The office is pretty basic, just a place to keep the records and talk to customers who come by. We’ve been here for quite some time, so we know most of the people in the area. It’s a quiet life compared to the big cities, but the work is just as demanding. We deal with a lot of heavy materials and technical drawings. It’s not always perfect, and sometimes we run into delays with transport or materials, but we always find a way to sort it out. That is just how we do things here in Salem. We stay busy and we keep it simple.
