Shriyan Rajapur Chausa Farmers Producer Company Limited is based in the Chausa block. We are located at H No 218 in Vill Tolarajapur, which is Ram Narayan Rai’s place. It’s right in the Sikraul area. We are a bunch of farmers who realized we needed to stand together. Life in the village is mostly about the fields and the weather. We don't have much use for corporate talk or fancy titles. We just call each other by our names and get to work. Dealing with crops in Chausa can be a bit of a gamble, but we do what we can. Our office is just a room in a house where we keep some records and talk about the next harvest. It’s not anything you’d see in a big city. We spend most of our time out where the crops are growing. We aren't looking to get rich quick; we just want a fair price for our hard work. Sometimes the market is good, sometimes it’s not. We just stick together through it all. It’s about community and making sure the farmers in Rajapur have a voice. We are just regular folks with dirt under our fingernails and a lot of patience. If you come by, don't expect anything polished. We’re just working and trying to keep our heritage alive.
