Nanauta is a relatively small place in Saharanpur, and Sarika Bhojnalya is tucked away in the MOH. Sheikhjadgaan area. If you live around here, you probably know exactly where we are. It is a basic bhojnalya, nothing more and nothing less. We do not have a fancy menu that changes every single day. We just make the kind of food that people in Nanauta like to eat for their lunch and dinner. The kitchen is definitely the heart of this place. It is always warm because the stoves are running for hours at a time. We get our vegetables from the local market nearby every morning. Sometimes the produce is great and sometimes it is just okay, but we make it work regardless. The seating inside is just simple wooden benches and tables. It gets a bit cramped when the afternoon rush hits, but nobody seems to mind the squeeze much. We are not trying to be a five-star establishment. We are just a local spot where you can get a plate of food without any fuss or unnecessary talk. The floor is made of concrete and we scrub it every night after we close. You will see the owner sitting near the front most of the time, keeping an eye on things. We have had the same neighbors for many years now.
