We are set up on Survey No. 556 right along the Idar Road. This is the Savgadh area near Himatnagar, which is quite open and has plenty of space. Since the panels we deal with are large, we really need that extra room. The road outside stays busy with trucks and people driving between the different towns. A large shed is where we keep all the materials so they stay out of the rain. It’s not a fancy setup, just a practical one for moving panels in and out every day. Most of the daylight hours are spent checking stock and talking to the drivers. The ground around the yard is a bit uneven, so we have to be careful when we move the heavier loads. A small office space at the front holds our phone and the ledger where we track everything. Sometimes we sit for tea in the afternoon when the sun starts to go down and the air cools off. Advertising isn't something we really do much of. Most people find us because they saw the sign on Idar Road or someone told them we were out here. The work stays steady and we just keep at it day by day. Weather is something we have to watch closely because moisture isn't great for the panels. It’s a lot of physical work, but everyone here is used to it. We keep things simple and focus on getting the panels loaded correctly so they don't get damaged on the bumpy roads.
