We are located over in Shantinagar Society, which is right near the Himat High School-2 here in Himatnagar. It is a pretty easy spot to find if you are coming from the Mahavir Nagar side of town. We spend most of our time dealing with tiles and granite work, which can be heavy and a bit messy sometimes, but that is just the nature of this trade. The office at 157 isn’t anything too special to look at, but it is where we keep all our records and talk to people who need stone for their houses or local projects. Some mornings the noise from the school next door is quite loud when the kids arrive for class, but we have gotten used to it over the years. It is actually nice to have some life and activity around the area. We do not spend money on flashy signs or big advertisements. Most of our work comes from people just walking in or hearing about us from someone else in the district. The sun gets really hot in this part of Gujarat, so we try to get all the heavy lifting done early in the morning before the afternoon heat really hits the warehouse floor. Our staff is mostly local guys who know the stone trade well. We just try to keep things moving and make sure the orders are ready when people come to pick them up. It is a straightforward business without much fuss or drama.
