Himalaya Granites

Our shop is Himalaya Granites, and you can find us at Plot No.15, Kalpataru Plaza. We’re right near the Parthik Petrol Pump at Billora Teen Rasta in Idar. It’s a convenient spot because everyone knows where the petrol pump is, so we never have to give complicated directions. We moved in here a while back and just started setting things up piece by piece. The plaza is usually quite active, especially in the mornings when people are out running errands. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles here. It’s mostly just us, a bunch of granite samples, and some tools for measuring and cutting. We spend a lot of time talking to people who walk in off the street. They want to know what kind of stone will last or what colors we have this week. We try to be helpful without being pushy about it. Sometimes we don’t have exactly what someone wants in the yard, and we just tell them that. No use in pretending or making promises we can't keep. The office gets a bit dusty from the stone dust outside, but we try to sweep it out every evening. Working in Idar is nice because it’s a tight community where people know each other. We see the same faces at the tea stall nearby every day. Our work isn't about being the biggest. We just want to do the job right and make sure the granite is cut correctly.
