We are located out in Matoda, which is in the Khedbrahma taluka. It is a bit far from the big cities, but we like the pace here in the Sabarkantha district. Our facility is right there at the post office area. Most of us working here are from the nearby villages. We deal with the production and handling of ceramic materials. It is hard work and the days can be long, especially when the weather is very dry. We don’t have any big corporate signs or anything like that, just our gate and the workspace. People in Matoda know us as the place where the tiles are. We focus on getting the daily production numbers met and keeping the machinery running. It’s a practical environment. You won't find any polished floors in our office, just plain desks and a lot of logbooks. We talk about the weather and the local crops during our breaks. The road to Khedbrahma can be bumpy but it gets us where we need to go. We’ve been part of this community for a good time now. Dealing with local logistics is a big part of what we do every day. We don't use big words to describe ourselves, we just say we are the crew working at the Matoda site. It’s honest work and we try to do it right without making a fuss.
