Rolex Ceramics

Our place is located right behind the Sarvoday Hotel, just off the National Highway in Kankanol. It is a pretty good spot for us because the heavy trucks can pull in easily from the main road without getting stuck. Rolex Ceramics has been operating out of this warehouse for a few years now. We carry a lot of different tiles and ceramic items that people use for building new houses or fixing up their old bathrooms. The dust is a bit of a constant problem because of the highway traffic, but we try to sweep up every morning. It is mostly just a few of us working here, making sure the heavy crates are stacked properly so nothing breaks. Sometimes the samples in the front room get a bit disorganized when customers are looking through them all day. We do not have a fancy showroom with bright lights and shiny floors. It is more of a practical workspace where you can see the actual stock we have. People usually find us by looking for the big hotel first. We drink a lot of tea while waiting for the next shipment to arrive. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk about the weather or the traffic on the N.H. Way. Other days we are moving heavy boxes from sunrise to sunset. It is hard work but it keeps us busy and the time passes quickly enough.
