Punjab Engg.Works

You can find Punjab Engg. Works over in Phase-5 of the Industrial Area, at plot D-71. Being in an industrial zone means there is always a lot of noise and dust, but we don't mind it much. It's the kind of place where everyone is doing some kind of manufacturing or repair work. Our shop is pretty straightforward. We have the usual tools and benches you’d expect for engineering work. We mostly focus on getting the jobs done that come through the door each morning. Some days are packed with small repairs, and other weeks we are stuck on one big project that takes up all the floor space. The guys here have a lot of experience with metalwork. We aren't the type to sit in an air-conditioned office all day. We’re usually out on the floor where the action is. The tea stall down the road is where we usually take our breaks and talk about the day's tasks. It’s a simple life, but it suits us. The weather gets really hot in the summer inside the shed, but we just keep the fans going and stay on schedule. We've been at this for a long time now. People know if they come to D-71, they'll find us busy with some piece of equipment. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay productive.
