Continental Engineering Works

We are located over at D- 156- D in the Phase- 7 Industrial Area of S.A.S. Nagar. It is a typical industrial spot, lots of noise from heavy machines and trucks moving in and out all day long. Continental Engineering Works is basically just a big workshop. We have lathes, drills, and all sorts of metalworking tools sitting around. There is usually a bit of grease on the floor and that strong smell of cutting oil in the air. We have been in this specific unit for quite some time now. It is definitely not a place for a suit and tie. Most of us are in messy overalls most of the day. We take in jobs from other factories or local guys who need something specific made out of steel or iron. Sometimes the blueprints they bring in are just rough sketches on a piece of old cardboard. We make it work anyway. The lights are those big industrial ones that hum a little bit when they get hot. It is a tough environment but we are all used to it by now. We have a small kettle in the corner for making tea, which is probably the most important piece of equipment in the early morning. People know us in Phase 7. We do not have a marketing department; we just do the work that comes through the door. If you are looking for our gate, it is the one with the heavy sliding door that sticks. It is just a solid, working-class place.
