Meham Horticulture Farmers Producer Company Limited operates out of Village Girawar in the Meham tehsil of Rohtak. We chose to stay right here in the village because that is where the horticulture work happens. It’s not always easy being out in the rural areas, especially when the weather is bad, but it is our home. The group is made up of local people who know the soil of Rohtak better than anyone else. We don’t have a polished office or a receptionist. Usually, someone is just around at the village location to handle the day’s tasks. We focus on fruits and vegetables and trying to get a fair deal for the farmers in Meham. It’s a lot of sorting and talking to people and figuring out the transport. We don’t use any marketing talk or fancy words. It’s just practical work that needs to be done every day. We’ve seen the seasons change many times and we know how to handle the ups and downs. If you come to Girawar, you will see us working in the fields or meeting at our main spot. We are just a producer company for the local community. We keep things straightforward and don't try to be something we aren't. It's mostly about the land and the crops and the folks living here in this part of Haryana. We just get on with it and try to make sure everyone is treated fairly in the process of growing and selling.
