Being in the mandi means it’s always loud and busy with trucks and people carrying sacks of grain. It’s a lively place to be, and we’ve been here for a good while. Our setup is just a typical shop where farmers come and go all day. It’s dusty and crowded, especially during the peak season when everyone is trying to sell their crops. We don't have a quiet office with a receptionist. Instead, you’ll find us right in the thick of things, probably shouting to be heard over the noise of the market. We deal with the agriculture business in a very hands-on way. It’s not about being fancy or having the latest gadgets. We just know the market and we know the farmers. There’s a lot of tea drinking and talking about prices. Sometimes we’re so busy we don’t even have time to sit down. But that’s just how it is in Ellenabad.
