Nemili Collective Farming Farmerproducer Company Limited

Our group is based in Vepperi Village, at No. 75 on Bajanai Koil Street. We are a collection of farmers from the Nemili area in Vellore. We started this producer company because we wanted to have more control over our farming business. It’s a quiet village, and our office is just a simple building where we meet to talk about our work. Most of us have been farming since we were kids, following in the footsteps of our fathers. We deal with the daily realities of farming—bugs, dry spells, and the cost of diesel. By being a collective, we can share the load a little bit. We don't have a big corporate structure or any fancy titles. We are just neighbors who decided to work together. When we have a meeting, it’s usually quite informal, but we make sure the important decisions get made. We look after the interests of the farmers in our small corner of Vellore. It takes a lot of patience to run a company like this when you’re used to being outdoors, but it has been good for us. We focus on getting what we need for the fields and making sure the harvest is handled correctly. There is no polish here, just a lot of hard work and honest talk. We are part of the community in Kilveedhi, and we plan to keep it that way for a long time.
