Akshya Marutham Collective Farmingfarmer Producer Company Limited

We are located over at No. 4/80-B on Ricemill Street in Puliyamangalam Village. Most of us here have been farming for a long time, so forming Akshya Marutham Collective Farmingfarmer Producer Company Limited seemed like the right thing to do. It is easier to get things done when we work as a group rather than just on our own. Rendadi Post is where we handle our mail and most of our business happens right around Walaja in the Vellore area. We aren't a big office with lots of computers and fancy desks. It is mostly just us talking about the crops and how to get them to market without losing too much money. Some days are harder than others, especially when the weather doesn't behave, but that is just how it goes in this line of work. We use the space on Ricemill Street to store things and meet up when we need to decide on seeds or equipment. It is a quiet place, 631102, and we know everyone around here. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just a bunch of neighbors trying to make the collective work. We spend a lot of time out in the fields and then come back to the village to sort things out. It isn't always organized perfectly, but we manage to keep things moving. We just want to keep the farming going for another generation if we can and keep this place running for the families here.
