Down at S. No. 140 & 140 in Medchal, you will find Mutchall Engineering Works Pvt Ltd. We are located on the Bkandlakoya Sai Geeta Ashram Road, which is a bit of a drive out for some, but it is a good spot for engineering work. The road towards the Ashram is usually quiet in the early hours, but it picks up later. We have a lot of space out here, which we need for the kind of heavy work we do. The workshop is the heart of the place, and it is usually quite hot, especially during the summer months. We have big fans going, but you still feel the heat from the machines and the sun on the roof. Our staff are mostly local guys who know their way around a lathe and a welding torch. We don't spend much time in the office if we can help it; we’d rather be out on the floor where the real work is happening. The yard is usually full of raw materials and finished pieces waiting to be picked up. It is a gritty, practical environment. We don't have any fancy signage or a polished lobby. It is just a place where things get built and repaired. We take our breaks in the shade when we can, and then it is back to the noise and the sparks. It is a long day, but there is a satisfaction in seeing the metal take shape.
