Ayyappan Engineering Works

Ayyappan Engineering Works is located at Door No: 3-24/A in Gungal. It’s a village in the Yacharam Mandal, so it’s a bit away from the main city rush and traffic. We do a lot of metal work and repairs here. You’ll usually hear the sound of grinding or welding coming from the shop before you even see us from the road. It’s a dusty job and our clothes are usually covered in grease or iron filings by the end of the shift. The weather out here in Gungal can get really hot, which makes working with metal and tools even tougher, but we just get on with it. People from the surrounding farms and small businesses bring their broken machinery or parts that need fixing. We spend a lot of time bent over a workbench or standing at the lathe. It’s not a fancy setup, just a practical workshop with the tools we need to get things done. We live and work in the same area, so we know everyone around Yacharam Mandal pretty well. It’s a quiet life compared to the city, but there is always something that needs to be fixed or built. We don't spend much time on computers or doing paperwork, we'd much rather be working with our hands in the shop. The days are long, but there is a certain rhythm to the work that we’ve grown to like over the years here at our spot in the district.
