Sri Balaji Engineering Works

Our workshop is over in Ghatkesar Village, specifically at Block No 9, Sy No 485. It’s a bit out of the way compared to the city center, but it gives us the space we need for the engineering work we do. The village has changed a lot over the years, but we’ve stayed right here. We do a lot of different mechanical jobs, mostly things involving welding and cutting. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and we always have a few projects going on at once. It’s not the cleanest place, but it's a real workshop. We don't have a front desk or a receptionist. Usually, whoever isn't under a machine will come out to talk to you. We've got some old tools that still work better than the new stuff. It can get pretty loud when the grinding starts, but that's part of the job. We don't have a website or anything like that. Most people just know where we are or ask around the village. We try to get things done as quickly as we can, though some jobs take longer when parts are hard to find. It's just a small group of us working hard every day to keep the machines running and the customers satisfied with the parts we make. It’s a bit rustic, but it’s ours. We take the work as it comes and try to be honest about how long things will take. Sometimes the power cuts in the village slow us down, but we catch up.
