We set up Vasuday Kutumkam Developers Private Limited over at Plot Number 208 in Balalong. It’s a quiet area compared to the city center but it is growing fast. Sambo is where most of our focus stays because that’s where we are based. My family has been around here for a long time, near where Mogo Munda lives. We started doing land work and development because we saw people needing homes but not knowing where to start with the plots. It isn't always smooth sailing, sometimes the land needs a lot of clearing and the rain makes the ground too soft to work on for weeks. We just handle it as it comes. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Ranchi, just the ones who know this specific corner of the district. We spend a lot of our time out on the sites instead of sitting behind a desk. It’s better that way so we can see what is actually happening with the dirt and the boundaries. People come by the office when they have questions about how the local land is divided or what can be built. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. It’s just development, plain and simple. We take it one day at a time, making sure things are done right before moving to the next plot. It’s a lot of walking around and checking markers on the ground.
