We work out of an office on Harmu Road, right near the Goushala in the Harmu Housing Colony. It is a well-known spot, and the road here is quite wide, which makes it easier to navigate than the narrow lanes in the middle of town. Our office is a very simple and functional place. We have our desks set up so we can easily talk to each other while we are working on our files. There isn't any big hierarchy or formal structure; we all just pitch in and do what needs to be done. The shelves are filled with ledgers and stacks of paper because we still find it easier to keep track of things that way. It can get a little dusty because of the road being so close, so we are often wiping down the desks and windows. We have people dropping in throughout the day, so the chairs in the waiting area are often occupied. We aren't interested in fancy titles or showing off. We just sit down with whoever comes by and listen to what they need. Lunch is usually a shared affair with everyone bringing something from home. It is just a simple, hardworking environment. We have been part of this neighborhood for a long time. It isn't anything special, but we like it here and the people in the area are friendly. Usually, we wrap things up as the sun goes down.
