Finding us is usually easy since we are right in the Ark Complex on the second floor. Being on H B Road in Lalpur means we are right in the middle of everything. It is a very crowded part of Ranchi, especially with the Lalpur Police Station sitting right next to us. The office is mostly full of old metal cabinets and desks piled with papers. It gets pretty loud with the street traffic, but we don’t mind it much anymore. We usually get in before the shops open to get a head start. There is a lot of back and forth with files and paperwork throughout the afternoon. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s where we get the work done. The lift in this building is a bit slow, so we often just take the stairs to save time. We have a small corner where we keep a kettle for making tea, which is basically a requirement for our afternoons. The walls are mostly covered with shelves. We didn't spend any time on fancy decorations or making it look like a corporate headquarters. It’s just a plain workspace where we talk to the people who need us. Lalpur is a handy location because most things are within walking distance if we need to run an errand. We just keep our heads down and work. It isn't fancy, but it gets the job done and we know where everything is.
