STREET BUILDERS PRIVATE LIMITED

Street Builders is based out of a village called Patratu, near Boreya in the Kanke area of Ranchi. We are located at Dhanheshwar Mistri Lohra’s place. This isn't the famous Patratu valley with the dam, but the local village area on the edge of the city. It is a very rural setting, with fields around and a lot of open space. We started this because we saw how the city was expanding toward Kanke. Our office is just a part of a house, really. We don't have air conditioning or glass partitions. We just have some wooden desks and a lot of notebooks. Most of the people who work with us are from the nearby villages. We walk to work or come on cycles. It is a very grounded way of doing business. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just build things. Whether it is a small boundary wall or a foundation for a house, we take it seriously. Sometimes the cows wander too close to the site and we have to shoo them away. That is just life in Patratu. We are local people, and we know every corner of Kanke and Boreya. We don't need a map to find our way around. We just want to do our work and go home to our families at the end of the day.
