We are up on the third floor of Jagannath Tower in Lalpur. This is right on Circular Road in Ranchi. If you know Ranchi, you know that Lalpur is one of the busiest spots you can find. There is always something happening outside, with shops and cars everywhere. The tower is one of those tall buildings where you have to wait for the lift sometimes, or just take the stairs if you’re feeling energetic. Being on the third floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, which is nice when we take a break. The rooms are plain and functional. We have benches and desks for everyone. It’s not a fancy college campus with grass and trees, it’s just a floor in a building where we get the work done. Ranchi weather is usually better than other places, but it still gets stuffy inside when the rooms are full. We do our best to keep things running smoothly. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we know the building inside out. It’s a straightforward place for people who are serious about their goals. We don’t have much in the way of decorations, just some old posters and schedules on the walls. It’s a bit of a climb to get here if the power is out, but it’s a good, solid place to spend the day. We are usually busy from early morning.
