Rrs Engicon is set up in Irga village, which falls under the Daru police station area in Hazaribagh. We operate out of Sanjay Saw’s place, and it’s a typical village setting where everyone is familiar with one another. Our work involves engineering and construction, so we are often out in the fields or at building sites rather than sitting behind a desk. The village life is slow, but our work is usually anything but that. We have to coordinate a lot of moving parts, from getting the right sand and bricks to making sure the labor shows up on time. It’s a lot of physical work and managing people on the ground. Our office space is just a room where we keep our logs and take care of the government filings. We don’t have fancy signs or a big website. Most of the folks in Daru and Irga just know us as the local guys who handle the construction projects. It gets pretty dusty out here, especially when the trucks are moving in and out with supplies. We try to keep things organized, but in this line of work, things can get messy fast. We’re just trying to do a decent job so that the structures we build stay standing for a long time. It’s about being practical and staying busy with the tasks that come our way each season.
