Our office is situated near Birla Vihar in the Bariatu section of Ranchi. It’s over at Rani Bagan, specifically at Rajgrihi Singh’s place. Rg & Sons Infrastructure Private Limited is a family-run kind of setup. We mostly work on local infrastructure tasks around the city and the outskirts. Ranchi has been growing a lot lately, so there is always some road work or drainage project that needs attention. We have a couple of old trucks and some basic machinery that we keep parked nearby. It is a lot of hard work and the sun gets really hot in the afternoons. Our team is mostly made up of guys who live around here. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just look at the plans, get the supplies, and get to work on the site. Sometimes the supply of cement is slow, or the weather doesn't cooperate, but we stay at it. It’s a straightforward business. We keep our records in a small room and spend most of our time out in the dust and mud. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we know how to do. Being near Birla Vihar makes it easy for people to drop by if they have questions about a project. We’ve been in this area for a while now and we know the roads well. We just take things as they come and try to get the job done right without complaining too much. It's just a job.
