N. Prasad Son'S Raj Infrastructure Private Limited is over in the Lalpur area of Ranchi. We are located in the P.N. Bose Compound on Dr. Mukti Shran Lane. Being in Ranchi is a bit different because it’s a lot more crowded than the rural areas. There is always noise from the street and people coming by the office to ask about work. We have been here at Bhushan Prasad’s place for a while. The office is full of old files and some samples of tiles and stones we’ve used over the years. It feels like a family place because, well, it is. We don’t have a big corporate structure. If something needs doing, one of us just goes and does it. The traffic in Lalpur can be a headache when we are trying to move heavy equipment around, so we usually try to do that late at night or very early. We’ve seen Ranchi change quite a bit from our little corner. Our focus is just on the daily grind of managing sites and making sure we have enough cement for the next week. We drink a lot of chai and spend a lot of time on our mobile phones trying to track down drivers. It is a busy life, but it’s ours. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. Just a local infrastructure group trying to stay on schedule in a busy city.
