This office is tucked away in Doranda, Ranchi, specifically in the Ade Electrical section. Being in Jharkhand, we get all kinds of weather, from the heavy rains to those dry, dusty days. The Mecon Limited building here has a bit of history to it. You can feel it when you walk through the halls. It’s not one of those glass-and-steel towers. It’s a solid, older structure that has seen a lot of engineers come and go over the years. We focus a lot on the power and distribution side of things, hence the electrical tag. There’s always someone checking a circuit diagram or arguing about a technical spec in the corner. It’s a busy atmosphere but in a very low-key, professional way. We don't have a lot of flash. Our desks are usually piled high with reports and technical drawings. The area around the post office in Doranda is always humming with activity. We’ve got a good group of people here who just want to get the job done right. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations or corporate talk. It’s more about making sure the equipment and the systems we are looking at actually work the way they are supposed to. Lunch usually involves someone bringing in home-cooked food and sharing it around. It’s just a regular, hard-working office where we take our technical responsibilities seriously without needing to brag about it every single day.
