Mecon Ltd

This specific office is the Finance Section for Mecon Ltd, located in Doranda, Ranchi. Being in the finance part of the business means we deal with a lot of numbers and spreadsheets all day long. It isn't the most exciting work for everyone, but someone has to do it. Our desks are usually covered in ledger books and receipts that need sorting. We don't have time for a lot of corporate polish or fancy language because we are too busy making sure the books are balanced. The office in Jharkhand has a very functional feel to it. We have our calculators and our computers, and that is about it. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the backup to kick in, which is just part of living in Ranchi. We don't have any promotional speeches to give. We are just the people who handle the money side of things for Mecon Ltd. It is a lot of responsibility, but we take it one entry at a time. The atmosphere is a bit more serious than some of the other sections, but we still have our moments of joking around over a cup of chai. We aren't trying to be the best at anything other than getting our work done accurately. It is a straightforward job in a straightforward place. We just keep our heads down and focus on the task at hand here in the Doranda office.
