Mecon Limited

This is the Mecon Limited office over in Section-E9, specifically the Dc&C part in Doranda, Ranchi. I’m the assistant project engineer here, and my days are pretty full. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the little things don't fall through the cracks. The office is right in the heart of the Mecon Ltd area. It’s a busy place with people coming and going from different sections. You get used to the noise of the printers and the phones ringing in the background. My desk is tucked away in a corner, which is nice for focusing. Ranchi weather can be a bit much sometimes, but we stay cool enough inside. We handle a lot of paperwork and digital files every day. It’s not the kind of job you see on TV, it’s mostly just making sure the engineering details are right. We don't have a fancy lounge or anything. Most of us just eat at our desks or head out for a quick bite nearby. It’s a practical environment. We’ve got a lot of history in this building. You can tell by the way the floorboards creak in some spots. We just focus on the task at hand. It’s a solid group of people here at Section-E9. We’ve seen a lot of projects come and go over the seasons. We just keep at it. The dust settles on the shelves pretty fast, so we try to wipe them down once a week.
