Working over here in Dhurwa, Ranchi is a bit different than the big cities. Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited has been a part of this landscape for a long time. You can find us at E-94, Sector-Ii. It’s a huge area, and honestly, sometimes it feels like a small town on its own. The post office is right nearby. Most of us have been coming through these gates for years. It's not the kind of place with shiny glass walls. It’s more about concrete and heavy metal. We deal with some really massive projects here in Jharkhand. The weather gets pretty intense, but the work never really stops. We have a lot of history in these buildings. Sometimes the old machinery needs a bit of extra care, but that's part of the job. You won't find us using big words or trying to sound like a tech startup. We’re just engineers and laborers making things that weigh tons. The canteen food is okay, mostly dal and rice, which is what we need after a morning on the floor. It’s a government enterprise, so there’s plenty of paperwork, but at the end of the day, it's about the steel and the structures we build. We're proud to be in Ranchi. It’s a quiet place compared to Delhi, but the work we do is significant. Just a bunch of regular people doing heavy lifting.
