Mecon Ltd Ranchi

This office is located in the SAIL Satellite Township in Podhurwa, Ranchi. We are in building B 205. The township is a really well-planned place, so it feels very different from the rest of the city. There are lots of trees and paved roads, and it is generally much quieter than the main roads. Being here means we are right in the middle of where many of the staff and their families live. It is a very convenient location for us. Our office is essentially a converted flat within the township. It is not a huge space, but it is plenty for what we need to do. We have a few desks and some big cupboards for our project files. Most of the people who come by are residents of the township who are also our colleagues. The atmosphere is very relaxed and informal. You might see someone stop by in their casual clothes just to drop off a document or ask a quick question. We do not really have a set corporate dress code since we are so integrated into the living area. The air is a bit fresher here than in the main part of town. In the evenings, you see kids playing outside and people going for their daily walks. Our work involves a lot of coordination between different departments. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on our laptops. It is a steady, calm environment.
