Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited

We are out here on Plant Plaza Road in Dhurwa. It’s a big site and there is always a lot of noise and movement going on. Most of us have been working here for years. You get used to the heavy machinery and the way the dust settles on everything by the end of the shift. It is a long walk from the gate to the main offices. We usually start our day pretty early before the sun gets too hot. There is a lot of metal and steel around us every day. We aren't trying to be fancy. The walls are a bit grey and the desks have seen better days. But it works. People here know their jobs and they just get on with it. We have a lot of space to move things around. Sometimes the trucks line up outside and it gets a bit crowded. We just deal with it as it happens. Dhurwa is a quiet enough place except for the work we do. We eat our lunch together and talk about whatever is happening in the news. It’s a regular job for regular people. No one is wearing a suit here unless it's a special occasion. We just wear what is practical for the plant. We have some old equipment and some newer stuff too. It’s a mix of everything. That is how things are around here.
