Chittardih Engicon is pretty much a local outfit rooted in the village of Chittardih. Our office is House Number 27, which is basically where everything happens for us in this part of Giridih. It is a quiet area, and being in the Jamua block means we are quite far from the big city noise. We mostly focus on construction projects nearby. Being local means we actually know the roads and the people around here. We didn’t want to go to a big city to start this. It felt better to stay in the village where our families are. The work can be tough sometimes, especially when the weather isn't great or when getting supplies to the village takes longer than expected. We handle the engineering side of things and try to keep our projects moving along as best as we can. It’s just a few of us working out of this house. We do our own bookkeeping and manage the sites ourselves. You won't find any slick marketing brochures here. We just talk to people face to face. It’s a simple way of doing business, but it works for us. Living and working in Chittardih keeps us busy enough. Most of our days are spent on the road between Jamua and the different work sites we have going on at the moment. It is a humble living but we take pride in it.
